Besserat Brut - Millesime 2008

A vintage of excellence from Besserat, with a rare frankness. The grape juice seems intact, and the olfactory universe declines to fresh, ripe, then candied grapes. On the palate, the champagne is racy and perfectly balanced: both round and ample, with a perfectly taut finish. The dosage seems just right to wait a few more years.
